Story:
The female fan-base of Harry Potter is considerable before he arrives at Hogwarts, thanks to those entirely fictional books about him. Many witches, just like Ginny, have daydreamed of their perfect, romantic life with Harry and how they will be his wife, his princess or his girlfriend.

When Harry helps Hermione and Neville search the Hogwarts Express for Trevor the toad he encounters a great number of these witches, but his shyness, shabby clothing and small stature throw off their preconceptions about him. The consensus of the gossip that follows in his wake is that despite all of that he is helping a witch search for a lost pet, an adventure like in one of those books.

At Hogwarts the various witches continue to watch him carefully, unsure of what to make of this boy who doesn't seem to fit their ideal, but before their interest can wane Harry performs his perfect dive to capture Neville's Remembrall and is made the youngest Seeker at Hogwarts in a century. Instantly his celebrity amongst his fangirls at Hogwarts is restored, especially those who are Quidditch enthusiasts.

But it's when Harry rescues Hermione from the Mountain Troll on Halloween that everything changes. During the rescue Harry is thrown from the back of the Troll after firing a burst of accidental magic that is basically a crude Bludgeoning spell up the Troll's nose and when he lands he breaks his non-wand arm. Whisked away to the hospital wing to experience the joys of Skelegro it is left to Hermione to be interrogated by Lavender, Parvati, Katie and several other older Gryffindor girls about what happened.

Her tale of Harry vanquishing a twelve-foot tall hulking monster with a single spell and rescuing his female friend, his lady companion from terrible danger has them swooning. The next day she's bundled off to meet a couple dozen more witches from the other three houses who listen to Hermione's recount, suitably narrated and spun by Lavender and Parvati and soon the idea of Harry as not merely the character found in those childhood books but instead as a real life Prince Charming begins to solidify in their minds.

Hermione's perception of Harry's rescue is mildly coloured by the other girls' gushing enthusiasm and her early affection for her newly best friend quick grows into a crush. At the same time becoming the object of admiration for so many other girls who idolise her for being so close to Harry and her close relationship with him changes her popularity and brings her out of her shell. She experiences what she had so long dismissed, telling herself that it was unimportant, the close camaraderie of female friends, learning the ins and outs of gossip, hair and make-up, clothing and more.

Her report of Harry's confrontation with Quirrel at the end of the year further cements the infatuation of many of the girls. This ensures that not a one of them even for a moment believes Harry is the Heir of Slytherin during Second Year's Halloween, defending Harry to their housemates even before Hermione gets the chance to explain things to them.

When Hermione is petrified it is Lavender and Parvati who take the initiative to convince Harry that maybe his kiss could wake her from the enchanted sleep, he caves partly from their insistent coercion and partly out of the bright spark of hope that he'll get to see Hermione smiling again. That it doesn't work disappoints Harry more than anyone else but doesn't stop Lavender and Parvati waxing poetic to the other girls about how Harry stared longingly at Hermione's face, touched her cheek and then gently blushed his lips across hers - inducing dreamy sighs and nervous giggling.

When Ginny, who hasn't fallen in with the gaggle of fangirls, now collectively calling themselves 'Harry's Witches', having concealed her mountain-sized crush on Harry, disappears into the Chamber of Secrets the school is ordered evacuated by the DMLE (only because Susan notified her Aunt). It's into a chaotic gathering of students being organised by Aurors along with every staff member and Amelia Bones herself, that Harry Potter makes his dramatic entry.

Kneeling on the floor, blood covering one arm, black ichor running from his forehead, an unconscious Ginny Weasley drawn against his side, glittering Sword of Gryffindor in one hand, Sorting Hat and wand in the other and the majestic and fiery Fawkes upon his shoulder - whose teleporting flames were the means of arrival - firmly cements Harry's status as the next coming of Merlin... but way hotter. If all the witches in the Hall were swooning over him at that mere sight, all those and more are ready to marry him or have his babies when Amelia Bones questions Harry in front of the whole school (unable to remove Harry from Madam Pomfrey's grasp) and he tells her that the Basilisk is dead, that he killed it, as he lifts the sword to indicate how, and that there was a cursed diary that somehow had Voldemort inside it, also that he destroyed that too before it could kill Ginny.

After questioning Harry himself, later and in private, Dumbledore becomes convinced that the horcrux in Harry's scar has been destroyed, lifting a great weight from his heart. Dumbledore's delight is further lifted with additional amusement when during the following summer he receives, as Harry's nominal Magical Guardian, over three-dozen offers of betrothal for the young wizard. He politely replies to all that until Harry reaches his majority and can choose a bride for himself that he will hold the contracts until that time, in safekeeping with the honour and respect suitable for their generous offers.

When Harry returns to Hogwart for Third Year his many female admirers are mesmerised by a significant improvement in Harry's looks. Without the horcrux in his scar feeding on his strength, his growth or his magic he has shot up like a weed, he's discarded his glasses and he's much less pale and skinny looking. Not just a hero, not just eye-candy but both at once and the various girls' plans to romance him grow every more urgent and fantastic. Those same plans are subsequently dashed when they discover through Hermione that he doesn't have a signed Hogsmeade permission slip, ending many a girl's elaborate plan to score a date before they even start.

As the witches in question begin to grow older their more child-like idealism about 'being together' with Harry gradually gives way to more adult understanding of relationships, dating and the usual self-interest of monopolising the object of their desire. Tensions begin to build amongst the girls with many feeling a mixture of inferiority, fearing they have no chance compared to others of their number who they perceive as being more pretty, more talented or more confident, and envy-turned-jealousy, that they deserve Harry as much as any of the others because they love him just as much, if not more.

It's Luna who makes a rather radical suggestion which is seized upon so quickly by most of the witches that they don't really stop to consider the consequences or ramifications. Luna suggests a contract, a pact that they would agree to, that if any one of their number successfully wins Harry's heart and gains his love that they must agree to share Harry with the others. While every witch wants, in an ideal world, to have Harry all to herself, each of them knows that the odds are against that and would rather risk that, if they succeed, that they would have to share him, in exchange for a guarantee of getting a share of him should one of the others succeed where they fail.

After rescuing Sirius, left alone in the Hospital Wing (with an apoplectic Snape, amused Dumbledore and ever oblivious Fudge gone) the two Gryffindors very nearly kiss after an enthusiastic, Harry-initiated hug. Their moment however is interrupted by Madam Pomfrey, much to Hermione's frustration.

Over summer Harry thinks of Hermione often and repeatedly recalls that moment where he is almost sure she was about to kiss him. Susan, using only some details, informs her Aunt Amelia of Hermione's report about Sirius Black's innocence and the truth of Peter Pettigrew, putting her on the trail of exonerating the Marauder. Luna and Ginny spend a lot of time together at the Rookery over the summer, usually alone while Xeno is off doing interviews, investigating and handling the Quibbler, and soon begin having a lot of fun experimenting with each other. Hermione causes her father a lot of anguish and her mother a lot of giggling when she asks to go shopping for some sexier underwear. Padma and Parvati provoke a great deal of exasperation in their father (and amusement in their mother) when they insist on a betrothal contract to Harry that offers both of them, together.

Returning to Hogwarts for their next year Harry and Hermione circle each other nervously, tempted but terrified, going to Hogsmeade together though not putting the name 'date' on their excursion even when it ends with a kiss... which Hermione chickens out and puts on Harry's cheek. When Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire he makes a scene in the Great Hall instead of letting himself be whisked off to the antechamber. Fleur's initial impulse to vent her ire, including at Harry, is taken aback when Harry's furious gaze rivets her to the spot, his rather abundant magic filling the room with an oppressive sensation.

Harry being named as the Fourth Champion sees the first real test of loyalty to Harry amongst his wide fan-base. Though many witches, in various years, across all houses, become upset with, turn cold to and even against him, there's very little debate amongst Harry's Witches who quickly align with Hermione's opinion of Harry's innocence, especially given Harry's argument with the Headmaster after his name was produced.

In solidarity the next morning all twelve of the witches come to breakfast making a display that rather boldly and suggestively demonstrates their loyalty, overshadowing the slander of Malfoy and his like, each wearing an identical shirt simply stating 'I'm with Harry'.

In the aftermath of the First Task Harry and Hermione kiss and are interrupted by Rita Skeeter who sets about writing her nasty filth. For a time Hermione is careful how she is seen around Harry, spooked by the vitriol of some purebloods and the first batch of hatemail which Harry immediately destroys. The other witches badgering Hermione for details also gets her nervous and she stammers out that they haven't actually asked each other, to be boyfriend and girlfriend yet. What will people think? Hannah, says that she thinks it is wonderful, everyone else in Harry's Witches think so too, don't they? One by one and then quickly all of them agree, buoying Hermione's spirits. When Harry is notified of the Yule Ball he knows immediately that the time for dithering is over and seeks out Hermione and asks her to go to the ball with him. As his date? No... as his girlfriend. Hermione, naturally, agrees enthusiastically.

When Fleur approaches Harry the next day to casually suggest the idea of two champions attending the Ball together she is surprised to feel a pronounced stab of disappointment when Harry informs her he is going with his girlfriend. Her curiosity towards him only grows however, few are the wizards who would stay so loyal to a witch when propositioned (however tamely) by a Veela.

The kisses often exchanged after their dancing lessons, under Madam Hooch, quite the accomplished dancer, only serve to rapidly ramp up their hormones and desires. Hermione is made into a proper vision of beauty by the rest of Harry's Witches on the evening of the Ball in exchange for promising one dance for each of them with Harry. Hermione explains this to an incredulous Harry as they dance the opening number and amusedly agrees alternating between dancing with a few girls each time before sharing another number with Hermione. After the ball Hermione and Harry return to the Tower and in a moment of wild impulse Hermione takes Harry's hand and leads him up to his dorm room. Closing and silencing his curtains they are undoing buttons and zippers, hands roaming, gasps and moans, kissing, fingers entangled with each other and in each other's hair. Making love several times they fall asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning Hermione wakes to Harry's warm body wrapped around her and his morning erection pressed against her belly. They repeat their previous performance, twice, before, under Harry's invisibility cloak, Hermione returns to her dorm room. Lavender and Parvati, knowing Hermione didn't return the previous night, immediately leap to the correct conclusion and soon are dragging her off to meet the rest of Harry's Witches. Her sordid recollection of her deflowering at the hands of their shared dream bloke sets hearts racing, has panties dampening and the slowly growing envy of a number of the witches slowly twisting to jealousy.

Later that night Harry leads Hermione off down a hallway and into an unused classroom and they immediately begin making out, soon Harry's hand has made it's way up her skirt and edge's its way into her knickers, however when his fingers brush over her instead of feeling euphoria Hermione feels a brief pang of pain in her chest that winds her. Concerned Harry stops and Hermione quickly recovers, Harry questions what is wrong and Hermione responds that it felt like some sort of magic... and realisation strikes her. The Pact, magically binding, enforcing each witch to share.

She'd shared Harry for dances at the Ball, she'd shared the details of their coupling... but the wording of the Pact was that whichever witch 'wins Harry's heart and gains his love' would have to share him - without any qualifier of how, how much, how soon or how long. It also meant something that made Hermione's heart soar, the Pact would only recognise the need for a witch to share Harry if the magic of the Pact determined that said witch had won his heart, that Harry loved her. Yet, if the other girls felt that Hermione wasn't sharing Harry with them then she was violating the Pact, her own magic punishing her by its terms, namely that if the witch didn't share then she would be unable to have Harry. 'Have' being another term in the Pact with worryingly little definition or specificity.

Realising that to keep her relationship with Harry she will have to share Harry with the other witches in full, that he'd have to be their boyfriend too, sends Hermione's mind into a spin. Could she do that? Hadn't she sworn she would? And didn't the other girls deserve it? They'd stood by her, lifted her up, helped and taught her, encouraged her and given her confidence, given their blessings to she and Harry being together. She thinks of how the other girls would react to their dreams coming true, like how Hermione's had, picturing Susan, Luna, Ginny and the others, smiling, arm in arm with Harry, kissing him. It wouldn't be true to say she felt no jealousy at picturing these things but it's far from the 'green-eyed monster' she expected to feel. Hermione smugly reflects that the only green-eyed monster she was familiar with was the one who's bed she'd shared!

She meets with the rest of Harry's Witches and tells them what she has realised and what it means and her decision to share Harry, should he be okay with it. Padma and Parvati giggle and Daphne and Tracy roll their eyes, as if any guy would have a problem with having a dozen girlfriends who wanted to share him. Katie however says that she wouldn't be surprised if Harry was the guy who would, they've all seen Harry and Hermione together, is there anything they wouldn't give up for the other? The girls quieten down at the thought, Katie continues and says that there's almost nothing she wants more in the world that what Hermione has but the one thing she might want more is for the two of them to be happy. If Harry and Hermione ask it of her, she'll agree to withdraw from the Pact. The rest of the girls look at each other, considering Katie's words. They'd left only one out in the Pact, that if every witch who signed it agreed to dissolve it then the contract would be void.

Slowly all the other girls, some more firmly than others, agree the same. Moved to tears by the loyalty and support shown to her and her relationship with Harry, Hermione thanks them but says that she won't agree to end the Pact until she's sure that Harry doesn't want to accept it. The rest of the girls are relieved to hear it and Hermione sets out, stomach a storm of butterflies, to explain to Harry the unbelievable situation he is about to find himself in.

Harry is incredulous at first and not a little bit miffed at the girls, Hermione included, conspiring however indirectly to choose who he loved. Hermione explains that they are all willing to void the contract but insist that he meet and speak with them all first and together they go to meet the rest that night. Harry asks each girl why they want to be with him, why wouldn't they want their own person to love, a person who would love just them.

They give varying answers, some more thought out than others, but it's Luna once more who rather succinctly says something that all the other girls then in turn find themselves vocally agreeing to: 'Why would we want to find just one person to love and to love us in turn? I love all of my sisters as much as I love you and they all love me, that's far, far better than just loving and being loved once'. Harry takes Luna's chin gently in his grasp and kisses her lightly on her lips, Luna smiles beatifically at him and then dives forward into a crushing hug, sighing loudly and happily. The other girls quickly mob him in a group hug and when Harry meets Hermione's eyes over the shoulders of several girls, he finds only happiness.

With So Many, What's One More?
- Hermione remains the public girlfriend but all eleven of the other witches spend their evenings at their gatherings, now including Harry, gradually becoming more confident and intimate with him, though only Hermione shares his bed at this point.

- Hermione and Harry's physical relationship is somewhat limited, the Pact holding them back from extended 'fun' until the other witches 'catch up', leading to a certain degree of frustration.

- Harry rescues Fleur from grindylows during the Second Task and helps Fleur, who becomes more drained and disoriented the deeper underwater she gets, to retrieve Gabrielle. After returning to the docks she hugs Harry fiercely, crying tears of gratitude and her adoration for him only growing when he replies, to her ears, with complete sincerity, that he was just glad he could help.

- Though several of the witches (mostly from conservative backgrounds) are leery of Fleur, fearful of the Veela stealing their man, Hermione defends Fleur and says it is hard to resent a woman because she is starting to fall for her hero. Besides, if need be, Fleur can sign the Pact and she'll have to share.

- Third Task, with different entry times, sees an Imperiused Krum find and Crucio Cedric first. Harry intervenes again and when he finds Fleur he warns her, together they finish and take the Cup. Fleur's allure is all that prevents her from receiving a Killing Curse and instead is kept, for Barty, tied to a headstone to watch Voldemort's resurrection and his duel with Harry.

- After the priori incantatem goes decisively in the favour of unHorcrux'd Harry, with Tom's wand exploding, and with Fleur freed of her bonds, hurling wandlessly conjured flames at retaliating Death Eaters, Harry summons the Cup. Arriving back at Hogwarts the other witches witness Fleur's blue flames and afterwards one of them informs the others that while Veela can conjure red flames to defend themselves they can only conjure Passionfyre in defence of their mate.

- Fleur joins Harry's Witches, signing the Pact, and making love to him before she has to return to France to sit her NEWTs.

- Sirius receives a trial and is exonerated over the Summer and Harry moves in with him allowing many of the witches to visit at will and more of them become Harry's lovers.

- Meets Tonks who finds her interest piqued as well, somewhat driven by her mild awe at Harry's apparent skill with all these women, eventually becoming one of Harry's Witches.

- Hermione reading some of the books at Grimmauld Place discovers the idea of Horcruxes and shares her theory, based on Tom's diary, with Harry and the others. Sirius confronts Dumbledore and they work to hunt down the Horcruxes while Harry and the Witches return to Hogwarts. Resisting Umbridge, forming a more combat-oriented 'DA' (Harry's Heroes). All of Tom's horcruxes get snuffed out prior to the end of Fifth Year and Harry reverses Voldemort's trap at the Ministry, backed by his witches, and kills the Dark Lord for good.

- Suitably romantic and sexy epilogue set at/after their Hogwart's graduation, with Harry immediately moving to accept certain long outstanding betrothals and making other long overdue proposals.
